Was The Moon Landing Fake?
Just like Area 51, The Apollo Moon Landing conspiracy is one of my favourites and I find it very elaborate and interesting to read about. The Apollo is one of NASA's programs that lead to a total of 11 American spaceflights to Mars and supposedly also getting the first man to walk on Mars. Equipment testing was done in the initial four Apollo spaceflights and out of the other seven, six flights landed on the moon. All of the Apollo flights happened between 1968 and 1972 out of which the first actual moon landing took place on 16 July 1969. A total of 12 astronauts walked on the moon to conduct scientific research there.
Although the whole Apollo project is considered in this conspiracy theory, ill be talking primarily about Apollo 11 which was the first flight to land on the moon as it seems to have the most prominent details and is also the most well known. Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin were the 2 astronauts to go in this spaceflight and were the first 2 individuals to walk on the moon. Now, the conspiracy revolving around this project is that it never happened at all. Yeah, it does sound pretty far fetched but when I go through all the supporting facts it might seem somewhat possible to you too. On the other hand, Conspiracy theorists say that the whole mission which has a video and many more things to prove that it exists are fabricated and was made on earth.
Now, looking at supporting reasons one by one, firstly we can see that America had proper reason and motivation to fabricate a moon landing if it was not possible to actually be achieved. This was because during that time The United States and the Soviet Union were involved in what was called the "Space Race" which was basically a race to see who could send a man to the moon first. Along with this, American President, John F Kennedy publicly stated in 1961 that, "before this decade is out, of landing a man on the Moon and returning him safely to the Earth." Thus, it is believed that the moon landing had to be fabricated before the end of the decade not only to make sure Kennedys claim did not go to become false but also to supposedly stay ahead of the Soviet Union and be the victors of the "Space Race".
Secondly, there were various photography and film discrepancies with the footage and photos of the moon landing. After reading through many of these there were a few that really caught my attention. One is that the quality of the photos was very high for them being taken in space back in 1969. This leads us to believe that they must have been shot in more favourable conditions such as on earth. Another discrepancy was that there were no visible stars in any of the photos. Now, this is something that I find very strange as even though focusing on a subject such as the moon's surface, in this case, would definitely change the light captured in the background, In such a dark background there should've been at least some stars which were visible. The final thing that I found strange was that there was a rock spotted in the photo that when zoomed in on showed the letter "C" engraved in it. This is assumed to be because they were all props used to film the fake moon landing and were engraved with identifying tags. NASA said to refute this that it wasn't in the initial images and must've been something in the later film like a hair but this explanation seems too convenient to be true.
As you can see this conspiracy is quite an elaborate theory with a large amount of evidence backing it but in my personal opinion, I don't believe in this. Now you must be thinking why? Well, I see that many of these things are very suspicious and I did believe this theory when I initially heard of it but then I think about the fact that its been 50 years since the Apollo 11 went to the moon. in 50 years I'm sure many of the new photography technologies would have been able to help us find some concrete proof that the photos were fake and not of the moon but that hasn't happened. I don't believe that a 50-year-old fake set of moon landing photos can be so good that nobody could expose them in all this time.

You have some good points here, and I agree with you. I think we would have been able to figure out if the video footage and the photos were faked then.
